Ms Dynamite is planning to step into the political arena.
The hip-hop artist insists that she can play a part in changing Britain and will do so by any means necessary.
Contactmusic.com quote her as saying: "My main goal is to help make a change to millions of things that I see wrong within society and if my journey takes me into politics in order for me to be able to fulfil that then that's what I'll do.
"Whatever it takes I'm ready for it."
Also known as Niomi McLean-Daley, she started out on pirate radio station RAW FM. With the release of her A Little Deeper album in 2002 she became the first female black artist to be given a Mercury Music Prize.
